This is one of the boldest pieces in the collection. A Prussian blue fern print and striped feather stand out against the subtle tan and brown shades of the wet cyanotype and rust prints. The fern was printed over a pale ecoprint giving it added depth. A topographic map of the San Jose foothills anchors the lower left corner with deep blue. Ready for a hike?

Medium: hand-printed textiles including: cyanotype, wet cyanotype, toned cyanotype, and rust prints on upcycled fabrics. Linen/cotton borders are neatly stretched over a sturdy wood and canvas frame.

Framing/display: This piece does not need framing. The deep profile, linen-wrapped support frame is sturdy, light weight and sophisticated in appearance. “It’s ready to hang with finger-friendly Softstrand coated picture wire and supplied hanging hardware.
