The delicate Lunaria seed pods featured in this piece were a treasure found on a summer visit to Cape Cod. The translucent disks created a simple graphic cyanotype print. Look closely and you’ll see little filaments and a few seeds within the pods.

Contrasting borders of crisp white cotton and rust-printed fabric frame the classic blue botanical print for a simple and elegant presentation.

Medium: Hand-printed textiles including cyanotypes and rust prints on upcycled natural fabrics. Natural linen/cotton borders. Mounted on archival 300# watercolor paper.
