natural arch 4

$220.00

This arch is possibly the most recognizable rock formation at the Headlands. It seems impossibly thin and airy – how can it stand? Native plants carpet nearby cliff tops in brilliant green and there’s a a sandy beach in the foreground.

Textural elements under the black pencil and watercolor add depth. Look for strips of medical tape, scraps of paper, and a “punched” texture on the beach. Colored pencil cross hatching adds more color and detail.

Medium: Watercolor, collage, pencil and colored pencil on 300# Fabriano cold press watercolor paper.

Size: artwork is 3” x 3”, frame is 6.75” x 6.75” x 0.75”

Framing/display: This original piece is double matted with white archival mat board, protected under glass, and framed in white. It’s delicately “floated” above the background to highlight the round corners and edges. Initialed on the front and signed and dated on the back. Ready to hang or display on a small easel. Be sure to view the detail shots!

Shipping: FREE US shipping . International shipping available for an additional fee.
