This painting of Cypress Grove is possibly my favorite piece in the collection! I love its spontaneity – the loose freshness of it. You can feel the wind moving through the trees. In fact, the wind was blowing and my hands were getting cold while I sketched. I’m pretty sure this drawing was finished in under 5 minutes! I added watercolor and lots of detail later back in the warm studio. 

Medium: Watercolor, collage, pencil and colored pencil on 300# Fabriano cold press watercolor paper.

Size: artwork is 3” x 3”, frame is 6.75” x 6.75” x 0.75”

Framing/display: This original piece is double matted with white archival mat board, protected under glass, and framed in white. It’s delicately “floated” above the background to highlight the round corners and edges. Initialed on the front and signed and dated on the back. Ready to hang or display on a small easel.
