cliffs & coves 1
At this spot the cliffs appear to drop straight to the sea where they are undercut by the continual action of the waves. They’re draped with tenacious native plants that cling to the rocky cliff tops. Muted blues, moody greys, and soft greens indicate that it was a cloudy day at the coast.
Look for a large peach colored piece of a used tea bag and some lined paper in the collage layer under the paint and pencil. Salt sprinkled into the watercolor created the texture on the green clifftop.
