About this piece, Mend 3: A tea-toned cyanotype of asemic brush script and a vertical cyanotype of mimosa leaves give this piece a refined, Asian feel. Other collage papers used include wet cyanotypes, botanical contact prints, and a rust print.

About the Mend series: These collages were studies for Mend. I was able to try out color combinations, cutting and gluing techniques, and composition ideas on a smaller scale. These gems turned out to be some of my favorites in the collection! They’d look beautiful on a wall, in a grouping, or displayed on a shelf.
