About this piece, Mend 5: This collage is just plain pretty! Delicate shades and a detailed fern print in aqua and gold keep the feeling light and airy. Hand-made collage papers include acrylic painting, bleached cyanotypes, wet cyanotypes, a rust print, and botanical contact prints. Isn’t it sweet?

About the Mend series: These collages were studies for Mend. I was able to try out color combinations, cutting and gluing techniques, and composition ideas on a smaller scale. These gems turned out to be some of my favorites in the collection! They’d look beautiful on a wall, in a grouping, or displayed on a shelf.
