Through the challenges and losses of 2020 we persevered. Day by day, we chose the safer, more difficult path and now we're slowly healing. The evenly paced blocks in this piece reflect the hard work we’ve done and the hopeful days ahead.

And there are bright spots to celebrate, too! NASA landed the rover Perseverance on Mars! Rusty red patches recognize this amazing achievement.

In this collage, the classic nine-patch block is interpreted in a contemporary style. Squares of rust, navy, and teal move your eye around the surface. Varied textures in the white blocks create a second layer of interesting detail. Pair this piece with Optimism (see previous listing) for a larger, bolder statement on your wall.
