This year we felt just how connected we really are through the things we had to give up. No gatherings, no hugs, no travel. And we learned to connect online, but also that it’s just not the same.

All the bits and pieces in this small, complicated collage reminded me of these connections, these links between us all. It’s made up of 17 individual paper patches in a variety of colors, mediums, and textures. Each one’s unique and separate but connected to the others and they’re all stronger because of it.
