What's it like to stroll in a bamboo forest? I imagine the wind clicking the poles together like a gigantic wind chime – strange yet soothing.

This wet cyanotype in dusty teal with dark blue details is layered over an acrylic monoprint made in Hawaii during an art retreat. A block of Japanese text in brilliant turquoise adds depth and a little mystery to the background. A sprinkle of turmeric enhances the upper left corner. Truly one of a kind!
